Photographer Portal Coming Aug. 4
Beginning Aug. 4, Agents will be able to invite photographers to collaborate in the listing creation process directly from the Listing Manager screen or from Photo Manager screen. This new process will give agents full control over their listing photos while also accelerating the path to market with fewer manual steps and more automation.
The invited photographer receives a secure link to log in to Matrix Photographer Portal and access the listing(s) assigned to them. From there, they can upload images and add room names and descriptions. Once photos have been uploaded, agents are notified and can review each image, approving or rejecting with feedback as needed.
Updated Matrix Listing Manager Coming Aug. 4
Beginning Aug. 4, Matrix listings will include a large photo viewer, bringing a familiar feature from classic listing input into the upgraded workflow. Users will be able to click any image to open a full-size pop-up viewer and flip through photos one at a time. For an even more immersive view, controls and photo fields can be hidden with a single click.
This enhancement lays the groundwork for future innovations in AI-powered photo enhancements and virtual staging.
New Matrix Dashboard Coming in August
Matrix will be sunsetting its non-responsive classic dashboard and transitioning all users to the modern version in August. This update ensures a consistent, mobile-friendly experience and access to the new Notification Center. The default search experience will not change, nor will any core functionality be removed. To switch to the new dashboard, users can click on the down arrow next to their name at the top right corner and toggle off the “Classic Mode” slider. Heartland MLS encourages users to get acquainted before it becomes the default.
Editor’s note: A previous version of this article referenced a July 14 launch date for Photographer Portal and Listing Manager. The launch date has been moved, and the new date is reflected in this article.
