Heartland MLS launched this week the partnership with Lundy to bring a voice-first real estate solution, Finding Homes, to the Kansas City region. This Alexa skill allows users to search Heartland MLS listings entirely by voice.
Lundy’s Finding Homes not only offers accessibility for blind or visually impaired consumers, but anyone with an Alexa device or smartphone can use this technology to search for a home.
“Partnering with Lundy Inc. is an important step in our mission to embrace innovation and ensure accessibility for everyone,” said Kipp Cooper, CEO of Heartland MLS. “We believe that anticipating changes in consumer behavior and adopting cutting-edge solutions is key to supporting our subscribers and their clients.”
The application works by taking key data on residential listings and delivering listing information in small but informative sentences. On top of that, users can search by property address or set a search by telling Alexa about a property character such as flooring type or the number of bedrooms.
Get started on any Alexa-enabled device by saying, “Alexa, start Finding Homes.”

Hello, do you have anywhere you might link to for more information? (I don’t have Alexa) For instance, if Ms Buyer asks about information on a villa for sale in Lionsgate, what information does she receive? if she asks follow up questions, is she able to get more details? If she asks for a text or email (can she do that? I don’t know.) then where does the text or email come from? Who sends it? If she asks to see the villa what happens next? If she asks who to contact about the villa, what information is given?
Thank you,
Ken
