The Kansas City region continues to be represented nationally among MLSs, as Director of Heartland MLS Rob Wagoner was re-elected to the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) Board of Directors for a four-year term beginning this year. He will sit on the board alongside 13 other MLS executives from across North America.
CMLS is the trade association for 241 multiple listing services, serving over 1.9 million combined subscribers and 83 business partners, whose mission is to champion the value of the multiple listing service through advocacy, best practices and education. Its 2026 Board will focus on policy, collaboration and creating frameworks that empower MLSs to evolve with confidence.
“This Board brings the experience and perspective that matter right now,” said Denee Evans, CEO of CMLS. “They understand the complexity of the moment and the responsibility that comes with leading an industry in transition. The work we’ve done to strengthen the MLS, build clearer frameworks and elevate our voice has set a strong foundation. This group is prepared to carry that work forward and ensure CMLS remains a steady partner for our members and a trusted force for the marketplace and the professionals who rely on it.”
Wagoner has been with Heartland MLS and KCRAR for over 20 years, serving in roles including IT manager and data services manager before beginning his time as Director of MLS in 2019. This will be his second term serving on the CMLS Board of Directors.
