David Nichols Achieves National MLS Industry Designation

October 25, 2019 in Heartland MLS

Heartland MLS President David Nichols was recognized for
earning the CMLXV designation at the Council of Multiple Listing Services
Conference in Salt Lake City this month. CMLXV is a professional accreditation program for MLS volunteer leadership that provides advanced training on MLS industry core competencies and management.

The Certified Multiple Listing Executive (CMLX) designation
program offers four different designations for executives, staff and MLS volunteer leadership to “set a
standard for the MLS profession and establish professional competency
standards,” according to councilofmls.org.

David is the first among the Heartland MLS Board of
Directors to complete the accreditation. Director of HMLS Rob Wagoner has also
earned 2 of the 3 CMLX designations available for MLS staff.

The depth of learning available through the program prompted
Heartland MLS leadership to incorporate it into the organization’s strategic
plan. As a result, all Heartland MLS directors and technical staff will be working
toward completion of the designation to elevate their knowledge to better
support and serve subscribers.
