2018 Kansas City REALTORS® PAC General Election Guide

October 23, 2018 in Government Affairs

REALTORS® don’t just sell homes. We help businesses and
families invest in our communities, which requires quality public schools, a growing
economy, a healthy real estate market, strong protection for private property
rights and a vibrant business environment.

That’s why it’s so important to build relationships with
elected officials who understand the key contribution that housing and
commercial real estate make to healthy, vibrant communities. We need elected
officials who share our REALTOR® values and who appreciate the contributions
that REALTORS® like you make to our communities.

KCRAR members volunteer to serve on committees to review the
voting records of elected officials and conduct personal interviews with
candidates who are running for office. The result is this Kansas City REALTORS®
PAC Voting Guide, which lets you know who stood up to stand with us and who
will help us build strong communities and protect the American Dream in Washington,
D.C., Jefferson City, Topeka and local city halls.

For more information on the screening process or this voting
guide, please contact Luke Bell, KCRAR Senior Vice President of Government
Affairs at lukeb@kcrar.com, Derek Ramsay,
KCRAR Vice President of Missouri REALTOR® Advocacy at derekr@kcrar.com or Jeff Carson, Director of Kansas REALTOR® Advocacy at jeffc@kcrar.com.
