With the launch of the Kansas City REALTOR® Party’s annual voter guide came a new visual resource for voters. An interactive map is now featured on the voter guide for voters to find the candidates running in their voting jurisdiction at a glance. The map features REALTOR® Party supported candidates running for Kansas House of Representatives, Kansas Senate, Missouri House of Representatives, Missouri Senate and select local races in the Nov. 5 General Election, with candidates who are REALTORS® denoted with a blue pin.
Of the 88 candidates featured on the guide, 10 are REALTORS®. To determine which candidates to support, KCRAR REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Trustees interview and evaluate candidates from all parties to find those who most align with real estate interests.
“Through RPAC, we are able to support candidates that understand the importance that homeownership and the housing industry has to our citizens, our economy and our future,” said Derek Ramsay, KCRAR Vice President of REALTOR® Advocacy. “Thank you to everyone who contributed in 2024.
