The Aug. 4 Primary Election will help shape the future of housing, property rights, and economic growth across the Kansas City region. That’s why it’s so important for REALTORS®, property owners and advocates for homeownership to be informed before heading to the polls.
To help members prepare, KCRAR has updated its REALTOR® Elections Center, featuring voter guides for both Kansas and Missouri, an interactive voter map, recorded candidate interviews and other election resources.
Instead of searching multiple websites, members can access voter guides, ballot measure information, candidate interviews and the interactive voter map in one convenient location.
One of the most valuable resources in the Elections Center is its growing library of recorded candidate interviews. These conversations give members a firsthand look at candidates’ priorities, qualifications and positions on issues that affect real estate professionals, homeowners and property owners throughout the region.
The voter guides reflect the work of KCRAR’s candidate evaluation process, which includes questionnaires, interviews and review by REALTOR® leaders committed to advancing policies that protect private property rights, strengthen housing opportunities and support homeownership.
For REALTORS®, these elections aren’t about politics—they’re about business, homeownership and the future of the communities we serve. The candidates who advance from the Aug. 4 Primary will play an important role in shaping the policy decisions that affect housing, development, affordability and private property rights throughout our region.
