By Andrew Mall, 2025 KCRAR President
If you have not yet begun your business planning for 2026, now is the time. As we enter the final quarter of the year, I want to remind you to leverage the many resources you have at your disposal as a member of KCRAR to grow in your professional development and build your business up for the coming year.
I believe that a big part of what sets REALTORS® apart is our continued growth mindset. Our industry is held to the high standard we set for ourselves through continued professionalism, bolstered by our expertise and skills. I would encourage all REALTORS® to continue refining those skills through education.
KCRAR offers a robust calendar of classes offered in-person, virtually or on-demand available to members. Here are a few of my recommendations to finish 2025 strong and set your business up for success in 2026:
- Mastering Buyer Representation on Oct. 30 — Taught by past KCRAR and Missouri REALTORS® President Andrea Sheridan, this class delves deep into the intricacies of navigating the Buyer Broker Agreement and empowers you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in representing buyers in real estate transactions.
- REDLINED: Cities, Suburbs, and Segregation on Nov. 6 — Not only does this CE class present the important history of redlining explored in the Johnson County Museum’s digital exhibit of the same name, but if you carry a Missouri real estate license, this class will also satisfy your required Core topic for 2026.
- Your Blueprint to Success: Business Planning for Real Estate in 2026 on Dec. 12 — If you’d like some hands-on guidance for building your business plan, this Latte & Learn session is for you.
These sessions are all offered at no-cost to KCRAR members as a benefit of your membership, so I would advise anyone to take advantage of the KCRAR educational offerings whenever you can. It’s already a great resource that we can use to satisfy the Continuing Education required for our licenses, but KCRAR also offers incredible non-CE professional development classes, like the monthly Latte & Learn sessions.
And as you begin planning your 2026, I also encourage everyone to mark their calendars for Recharge Conference & Expo on March 18. The speaker lineup has not yet been announced, but this annual conference always brings valuable sessions to the stage.
Let’s finish these last few months of the year strong and continue to grow together as an industry.

If these courses are included in membership, why is there a $25.00 pay box at the end of Register here? Thx
