Kansas City REALTORS® ‘Get on Track with RPAC’ at the Kansas Speedway

More than 65 of Kansas City’s top-producing REALTORS® came
together on April 18 at the Kansas Speedway to “Get on Track with RPAC,”
experiencing the thrill of racing around the track in a NASCAR race car at over
175 miles per hour through the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

This event secured over $51,000 in pledges for the REALTORS®
Political Action Committee (RPAC), which helps to promote the real estate
industry and protect clients’ path to property ownership. The following 18
REALTORS® and affiliate members stepped up to become new RPAC Major Investors
in 2019 during the event:

Any REALTOR® member interested in becoming a major investor
in RPAC who missed their chance to attend this event still has plenty of time
to contribute to RPAC in 2019. On Thursday, May 2, nearly 250 REALTORS® and
affiliates will come together at Arrowhead Stadium with a chance to bid on
dozens of live and silent auction items during an auction to support RPAC. Register

Contributions to RPAC are not deductible for federal
income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and used for political
purposes. The amounts indicated are merely guidelines and you may contribute
more or less than the suggested amounts. The National Association of REALTORS®
and its state and local associations will not favor or disadvantage any member
because of the amount contributed or a decision not to contribute. You may
refuse to contribute without reprisal.

The Kansas City
Regional Association of REALTORS® collects contributions as an agent of RPAC.
Your contribution is split between National RPAC and the state RPAC in
your state. Contact your state association or PAC for more information on the
percentages of your contribution provided to National RPAC and to the state
PAC. The National RPAC portion is used to support federal candidates and is
charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116.

Missouri
RPAC may not accept contributions from natural persons who are not United
States citizens, foreign governments, foreign corporates that are not
registered to do business in Missouri, candidates committees, political party
committees, campaign committees, exploratory committees or debt service
committees. Article VIII, Section 23.3(12) & (16).
