Real estate speaker and Atlanta REALTOR® Maura Neill will be taking the stage at the Overland Park Convention Center on March 24 to share her session on emotional intelligence at this year’s annual Recharge Conference and Expo.
In her session, titled “Happier Life: Emotional Intelligence For REALTORS®,” Neill will explore the importance of emotional intelligence (EQ), which is the ability to identify and regulate one’s emotions and understand the emotions of others. Neill asserts that possessing a strong EQ can help REALTORS® with client and personal relationships, leadership roles, and lead to personal and professional success.
“A high level of EQ may not come naturally to everyone, but it can be learned, nurtured and continually improved upon,” Neill said.
On the Recharge stage, Neill will share tips for real estate professionals to improve their EQ, personal outlook and mindset. Her session will provide workable strategies to improve relationships, make the most of leadership roles, and do better business.
Before getting into the real estate business in 2001, Neill previously taught at Florida State University and University of Phoenix. She is an active agent with RE/MAX Around Atlanta, leading her team and representing buyers and sellers on a day-to-day basis, and considers education – both for clients and other real estate agents – an important part of her role as a REALTOR®.
