Drive through the KCRAR Leawood Office parking lot on May 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to safely dispose of unneeded files for a $5 donation per box. All the funds raised will go to Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City to support their vision of “a world where everyone has a decent place to live.”
Not only is shredding a safe way to protect clients’ private information when disposing of old files, but shredding at Shred Day is also an environmentally friendly way to dispose of files, keeping these items out of landfills and conserving natural resources. KCRAR’s 2024 Shred Day alone conserved the resources of nearly 200 trees.
This year’s Shred Day also falls during national REALTOR® Volunteer Days, a week during which the National Association of REALTORS® encourages REALTORS® across the nation to get involved with their local nonprofits, such as Habitat for Humanity.
Members are welcome to spread the word to their clients to offer them the opportunity to safely dispose of their files at Shred Day.
eCycle will not be available at this year’s Shred Day. Find eCycling options.
