Nominations open for KCRAR ‘Of the Year’ Awards

KCRAR has opened nominations and applications for this year’s
annual awards. It is seeking submissions of exceptional REALTORS® deserving of
recognition for their work. Each year, the KCRAR Awards
Committee selects a recipient in each of the following categories to be honored
at the Holiday Party in December. Each award recipient will carry the title as
that award’s 2020 honoree. Members may nominate themselves or others online
at kcrar.com/awards by
5 p.m. on Sept. 14.

REALTOR® of the Year

This award will be awarded to a KCRAR member in good
standing based on Association involvement, civic and community service,
professional conduct, and business accomplishments.

Salesperson of the Year

This award will be awarded to a KCRAR member in good
standing based on Association involvement, ethics and cooperation, community
service, continuing education, and salesmanship/production from June 2019
through June 2020.

Community Service Award

This award will be awarded to a KCRAR member in good
standing who has contributed to a program that improves the livability of the
local community. Nominees will be judged on level of personal contribution,
impact of personal contribution, broadness of impact, and the project’s
suitability as a role model for other REALTORS®. The winner’s qualifying 501c3
charity will be awarded a $1,000 donation on behalf of the winner.

Newcomer of the Year Award

This award will be awarded to a KCRAR member in good
standing who has been licensed for 18 months or less. Nominees will be judged
on Association involvement, ethics and cooperation, community service,
professional development, and salesmanship/production from June 2019 through
June 2020.

Industry Partner of the Year Award

This award (formerly known as the Affiliate of the Year
Award) will be awarded to a KCRAR Industry Partner member in good standing
based on Association involvement, support of the real estate community, civic
and community activities, professional conduct, and support of state Association
activities.
