As a part of its REALTOR® Benefits Program, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has launched a new group life insurance program, in which REALTORS® can enroll to help shield their families from the economic impact of losing a loved one.
NAR has introduced three plans that are exclusive to NAR members and offer negotiated group rates on group life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
REALTORS® Group Term Life Insurance – This plan features economical rates and flexible coverage levels. Coverage is available to NAR Members and their spouses or domestic partners under age 60, with coverage amounts available from $50,000 to $1,000,000.
REALTORS® Mature Group Life Insurance – NAR has negotiated rates for this protection offered only to members age 60 through 74. Spouses and domestic partners age 60 through 74 may also obtain this coverage. Coverage can last through age 95, with coverage amounts available from $10,000 to $100,000.
REALTORS® AD&D (Accidental Death & Dismemberment) Insurance – Coverage is available to NAR Members and their spouses/domestic partners, and unmarried, dependent children. Members and their spouse or domestic partner must be between 20 and 60 to apply. Coverage amounts are available from $50,000 to $500,000. For health insurance options, KCRAR offers a variety of group-rate plans. Although open enrollment period for the Blue Cross Blue Shield plans has passed, new KCRAR members are eligible to enroll.
