The Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® (KCRAR) and Heartland MLS received the Great Place to Work Certification™ for May 2026 through May 2027. The certification is based entirely on employee survey responses.
KCRAR and HMLS’s 38 employees were each sent a Trust Index Survey, which included 60 statements, which employees responded to across a five-point consistency scale, as well as two open-ended questions. Among those statements was, “Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work,” to which 72% of surveyed KCRAR and HMLS employees responded positively.

Other notable survey statement scores for KCRAR and HMLS included, “When you join the company, you are made to feel welcome,” which earned a 97% score from respondents, and “We have special and unique benefits here,” which earned a 91% score.
