December 1, 2023 in KCRAR

KCRAR President Sydney West announced at the KCRAR annual meeting this week the election of four new directors to the KCRAR Board. They will serve three-year terms beginning January 2024.

Jana Larsen, ReeceNichols Country Club Plaza, was elected to the At-Large Director position. Her goals include bolstering cooperation and increasing policy transparency between the Association and its members.

Marian Coast, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kansas City Homes, was elected to the Sunflower Region position. Her goals include increasing member engagement, understanding and addressing member needs, and fostering a culture of collaboration.

Shawn Muller, ReeceNichols The Village, was elected to the At-Large Broker-Owner / Managing Broker position. His goals include increasing membership participation and increasing member knowledge and adoption of the Association’s benefits and resources.

Jeff Hill, Link Realty, was elected to the Small Firm Broker-Owner / Managing Broker position. His goals include expanding services and benefits to members while effectively managing resources.

In addition to electing new directors, KCRAR members also elected to pass a proposed change the section of the KCRAR bylaws that outlines the structure of the Board of Directors. This new change will remove regions and replace region directors with Missouri At-Large seats and Kansas At-Large seats. It will also remove reference to KCRAR appointed NAR Directors having a seat on the KCRAR Board of Directors. Current region directors on the KCRAR Board will continue the remainder of their terms, and the new change will take effect when each position is next up for election.
