Canadian real estate agent Richard Silver will be joining the KCRAR Global Business Council on Zoom for an educational session entitled, “The Canada Connection: Navigating Real Estate Deals with Our Northern Neighbors” on April 15 at 2 p.m.
Silver is the Senior Vice President of Sales for Sotheby’s International Realty Canada. He has served as both a Director-at-Large for the Canadian Real Estate Association and President of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. He has also been named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate” by Inman News.
On April 15, Silver will deliver a session on luxury, international and cross-border transactions for KCRAR members interested in learning about the international real estate market in Canada.
“In the last few years, Canadians were the largest group of foreign buyers in the US; however, global political and economic uncertainty adds an extra layer of complexity,” Silver said. “Our discussion will focus on how to make the changes benefit your sales goals.”
All KCRAR members are welcome to join this session, either in-person at the KCRAR Leawood office for a live viewing of the Zoom seminar or online via Zoom.
This session is a part of an educational series from the KCRAR Global Business Council. Its next session, “FIRPTA & Foreign Sellers – Avoid Closing Pitfalls and Tax Surprises” will take place on May 13 at 1 p.m. Future sessions will become available throughout the year in the KCRAR Education Campus.
