The 2026 KCRAR Residential Forms will be released on Dec. 15 on kcrar.com, formsRus and dotloop. 15 forms were changed for the upcoming year by the KCRAR Residential Forms Committee, led by 2025 Chair Michele DuPont. All changes are outlined in the summary of changes document.
Some of the most notable changes include changes to:
- Contingency for the Sale and Closing Addendum
- Exclusive Right to Sell
- Exclusive Agency Listing Contract
- Exclusive Right to Sell – Transaction Broker
Additionally, the following forms will be removed from the KCRAR forms library in 2026:
- Cold Weather Inspection Waiver (text from this form was added throughout the Seller’s Disclosure Addendum)
- Property Limited Marketing Addendum
KCRAR recommends all members discontinue use of the 2025 forms as soon as practical after the release of the 2026 forms, or by Feb. 15, 2026 at the very latest. All 2026 KCRAR residential contract forms will display a 2026 copyright date at the bottom of the last page of each form. 2025 forms will remain available for a limited time on kcrar.com.
KCRAR will continue to provide members with paid subscriptions to formsRus and dotloop Premium as a member benefit. Updated KCRAR forms can be found on kcrar.com on Dec. 15, dotloop and formsRus on or around Dec. 15 and on any other forms products that license KCRAR forms by early January.
