KCRAR’s Young Professionals Network (YPN/KC) is hosting a fundraising event on June 23 from 4-6 p.m. at Bar K to raise funds for this year’s REALTORS® Rock the Block event, benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City. Bar K is a bar and restaurant near Kansas City’s River Market for people and their dogs, featuring fenced-in dog parks and a patio dining area.
The event will feature a dog fashion show, for which attendees can enter their dogs, and the first, second and third place winners will take home prizes. Those interested in entering their dogs can do so for a $20 donation when registering to attend the event. Dogs entered in the fashion show will be judged based on overall appearance and fashionable presence for their chance to win.
- First place: One year Bar K Membership, Bar K t-shirt, Bar K collapsible water bowl, $50 Petco Gift Card
- Second place: Four dog entry passes, one Bar K t-shirt, one Bar K koozie, one Bar K collapsible water bowl, one Bar K sticker and pin, $50 Petco Gift Card
- Third place: Two dog entry passes, one Bar K koozie, one Bar K sticker and pin, $25 Petco Gift Card
Registration for humans will be a $10 donation to Habitat KC, paid in advance through the KCRAR Member Portal. Admission for dogs will $10 at the door for non-Bar K members.
