State and Local REALTOR® Leadership Academies Accepting Applications

Kansas Association of REALTORS® Right Track Leadership Academy

All Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR) members are eligible to apply for the Right Track Leadership Academy, which is designed for REALTORS® to develop the skills they need to lead any organization, team or group. The course is taught in five sessions that cover diplomacy, conflict resolution, goal setting and more. Applications are due to KAR by March 15, and KCRAR members interested in receiving a KCRAR-sponsored scholarship should email debbies@kcrar.com by March 11 with their interest. Learn more.

Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Academy

All Missouri REALTORS® (MR) members are eligible to apply for the MR Leadership Academy, which trains emerging REALTOR® leaders so that they may exert a positive influence on the future of the industry. The course is taught in five retreats over the course of a year, focusing on communication, legislative leadership, ethics and more. Applications are due to MR by May 6, and KCRAR members interested in receiving a KCRAR-sponsored scholarship should email debbies@kcrar.com by March 11 with their interest. Learn more.

KCRAR’s UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy

All KCRAR members are eligible to apply for the UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy, which offers a curriculum developed in partnership with the UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management to teach agents and brokers leadership and management skills specific to the business of real estate. The course is taught on the UMKC campus in monthly sessions from September through March. Applications for the academy and for scholarships are due to KCRAR by July 30. Learn more.
