KCRAR to host tax information events

Bradford and Company will be hosting a class on March 9
called Proven Business Tax Strategies for
the Real Estate Professional
from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the KCRAR
classroom. The class will go over points that REALTORS® may need to know to
file their taxes this year, including:

  • What to do to claim the new 20% 199A deduction
  • How tax reform provides increased bonus depreciation and 179
    expensing
  • Little known nuggets in tax reform that benefit your
    business
  • What’s left of your 2018 entertainment deductions after tax reform and how to claim them
  • Why the home
    office deduction is still a great source of revenue
  • How to properly record and document business expenses to
    help REALTORS® help their accountants
  • Benefits of the 105 Medical Plan
  • How to maximize vehicle deductions while reducing record
    keeping time and how to document and audit-proof your business tax records

KCRAR’s Young Professionals Network’s YPN Wednesday event, New Year, New Tax
Code
, on Feb. 28. Two attorneys who specialize in real estate taxes will
fill in members on how the new tax code will affect REALTORS®. This YPN event
will take place at the Granfalloon on the Country Club Plaza from 4:30 to 6:30
p.m.
