In 2020, the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® raised over $100,000 for the 1K for KC movement, much of it through the sale of KCRAR’s limited edition Charlie Hustle T-shirt. This year, the T-shirt is back with a new design but still benefiting the 1K for KC cause.
1K for KC is a movement of Charlie Hustle’s Heart of KC Foundation aiming to help Kansas Citians in need with their mortgage and rental payments over the holiday season. From December 2022 to February 2023, select families will receive up to $1K per month from 1K for KC paid directly to their rental and mortgage companies.
“The community gives us so much in our careers. We have so many opportunities to give back, and here is really a great cause that we can get behind,” KCRAR President Michael Pierce said. “I encourage you to give to 1K for KC.”
KCRAR has set a goal to raise $90,000 for 1K for KC, which would help 30 families in Kansas City. Those who would like to donate directly towards KCRAR’s goal can do so at 1kforkc.org/donate by listing KCRAR in the “Organization” field.
Pre-orders for the T-shirt will be open through Nov. 30 and are expected to deliver by the end of December.
