KCRAR’s newest staff member, Julie Bolton, stepped into her role as Chief Operating Officer this week, succeeding Perry Crume, who retired at the end of last year. Bolton comes from the Tri-Lakes Board of REALTORS® in Branson, Mo., where she served 6+ years as Association Executive.
“I am extremely pleased that Julie agreed to join our team!” KCRAR CEO Kipp Cooper said. “With our amazing COO Perry Crume retiring, it was very important for me to find a candidate that had the experience, understood our industry and how to best work with our members and professional staff. Thankfully Julie has all three of those traits.”
Crume announced his retirement from the COO position in October, and at the start of 2022, Crume moved to a part-time position assisting with the COO transition as well as continuing his responsibilities with the forms committee.
The KCRAR COO oversees the services that touch members including education, communications, community outreach, events, membership department, Supra lockbox program, strategic planning, products and services, and standardized residential contract forms.
Prior to her time as AE for the Tri-Lakes Board, Bolton worked for the Branson/Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the White House Area Chamber of Commerce. KCRAR welcomes her to Kansas City and to her new role as Chief Operating Officer.
