KCRAR Members Christian Barnes and Sydney West were honored at the Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR) Annual Conference with the REALTOR® of the Year and Salesperson of the Year awards. Additionally, Andrew Mall was installed as KAR Vice President and Crystal Swearingen and Jeff Carson were appointed to state committees.
Christian Barnes, recipient of KAR’s REALTOR® of the Year Award, is a past president of KCRAR, and continues to serve at the local, state and national association levels, including KAR Board of Directors, KCRAR Consumer Engagement Advisory Group, NAR Commitment to Excellence Committee and more.
Sydney West, recipient of KAR’s Salesperson of the Year Award, is the sitting treasurer of the KCRAR Board of Directors. She is also a director on the KAR Board as well as an active member of KCRAR’s Kansas Advocacy Committee in addition to extensive involvement with KAR.
Andrew Mall was installed as Vice President of KAR during the conference. In addition to this leadership position at the state level, Mall also serves on the National Association of REALTORS’® Board of Directors as well as KCRAR’s.
Also during the conference, KCRAR member Crystal Swearingen was appointed to the KAR Executive Committee as Presidential Appointee in addition to 2021 Vice Chair of KAR RPAC Trustees. KCRAR past president Jeff Carson was also appointed as Presidential Appointee to the KAR Executive Committee as well as Vice Chair of the 2021 NAR Leadership Fund Trustees.
