The KCRAR Charitable Fund contributed $20,000 to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) after wildfires recently devastated communities in Southern California. RRF announced that 100% of contributions through Jan. 31 will go directly towards those impacted by California wildfires.
“The devastation caused by the recent wildfires in California has been heart-wrenching to see,” said Andrew Mall, KCRAR President. “I’m glad KCRAR can contribute to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation’s efforts to help victims recover and rebuild from the overwhelming destruction. I encourage my fellow REALTORS® to contribute what they can to RRF as well.”
According to RRF, over 200,000 Los Angeles area residents have been displaced by these wildfires. Those interested in contributing to the efforts of RRF may donate at https://rrf.realtor/wildfire-relief/.
RRF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that exists to provide financial housing assistance to the public after disasters. In its 20+ years of existence, more than $40 million in aid has helped more than 20,000 families. RRF is supported by the REALTOR® organization family, and every dollar donated goes directly to victims of disasters.
Additionally, the National Association of REALTORS® has developed consumer resources to prepare agents to guide consumers and answer common questions related to homeowner insurance and policy coverage. REALTORS® can share with consumers the Consumer Guide: Fire Damage and Policy Coverage.
