KCRAR Past President Bobbi Howe was installed this week as 2025 Missouri REALTORS® (MR) President at the MR Winter Business Conference in Kansas City.
Many special guests attended the inauguration event to show their support for Howe, including Kevin Sears, 2025 President of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR); Christine Hansen, 2025 NAR First Vice President; Elizabeth Mendenhall, 2018 NAR President; and Tommy Choi, 2021 NAR Vice President of Association Affairs.
“Having known her [Howe] for probably near a decade and seeing the growth that she has as a leader, as an educator, as a REALTOR®, as a professional, there is no doubt that you have the right leader for the Missouri REALTORS® in 2025,” Sears said at the event.
Howe is a second-generation REALTOR®. She served as KCRAR President in 2020, leading the local association through the year’s obstacles related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Howe has also served on numerous committees for the local, state and national REALTOR® associations. She is a Major Investor in the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) at the Golden “R” level and an RPAC Hall of Fame member.
“As Missouri REALTORS®, we are facing the ‘hard’ face-on,” Howe said at the event, referencing the ongoing changes to the real estate industry. “And when we get better, it’s going to get harder. It’s the same way in each of our lives, whether it’s personal, professional and everything in between. So, I’m challenging you this year to handle hard better, but we’re all going to handle hard better together.”
Howe will be leading the state association alongside President-Elect Brian Jared (Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS®), Treasurer Brent Sager (Tri-Lakes Board of REALTORS®), Treasurer-Elect Antwann Rhodes (Pulaski County Board of REALTORS®) and Immediate Past President Derek Schriewer (Franklin County Board of REALTORS®).
