The Five County Chapter of KCRAR recently awarded its annual scholarships to four graduating high school seniors in the Five County area. REALTORS® in the Chapter raised funds to distribute these scholarships to four students based on a number of merits including GPA and community involvement. This year’s scholarship recipients areTevi Gurley, Jamin Moser, Reese Schaaf and Asa Wilson.
Tevi Gurley is a 2022 graduate of El Dorado Springs R-2 High School and plans to attend Drury University in the fall. She was very involved in extracurricular activities at school and received many awards along the way in volleyball, basketball, Letterman’s Club, Foreign Language Club, Business Leaders of America and FFA.
Jamin Moser is a graduate of Nevada High School and will be attending Missouri University of Science and Technology in the fall. Moser has completed the Project Lead the Way program at Nevada Regional Technical Center and received awards from the National Honor Society, Missouri Boys State, Student Council and band.
Reese Schaaf is a 2022 graduate of El Dorado Springs R-2 High School and will be attending Drury University in the Fall. Reese has experience working as a ranch hand giving her an understanding of the value of home and property ownership and the maintenance that goes along with it.
Asa Wilson is a 2022 graduate of Nevada High School and plans to attend Missouri State University and major in Construction Management in the fall. Wilson’s high school accomplishments range from volunteering with his church youth group to coaching football and wrestling to landscaping.
