Applications are currently open for the UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy’s 2021-2022 session, beginning this September. In a partnership between KCRAR and UMKC’s Henry W. Bloch School of Management, the Academy’s curriculum is specifically tailored for REALTORS® to build the skills and knowledge they need to stand out as leaders in the real estate industry.
“Any REALTOR® in the Kansas City area who wants to grow their business, who wants to be a person of influence needs to take this program,” said Markus Williams, a graduate of the UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy.
This seven-month program focuses on three core themes: industry context, regional leadership and practice management. Students will have the opportunity to work on team-based assignments and projects, engage in field assignment and interact with industry experts. Monthly class meetings are hosted on the UMKC campus, and the program is led by instructors from across the UMKC network.
The Academy is limited to 25 students per year, and each graduate of the program earns alumni status at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management. Applications close on July 30.
