KCRAR is now accepting applications for director candidates to serve three-year terms on the KCRAR Board of Directors. The KCRAR Credentials-Election Committee encourages members who are actively involved in the Association to apply to run for one of the available positions on the Board by Aug. 31.
Available positions include:
At-Large Director — This position is open to any REALTOR® member in any area of KCRAR’s jurisdiction, including Chapters. This director is elected by the general membership.
At-Large Broker-Owner/Managing Broker Director — This position is open to any Designated REALTOR® member (brokers) and is elected by Designated REALTOR® members.
Small Firm Broker Representative — This position is open to Designated REALTOR® members (brokers) in KCRAR member firms of 20 agents or fewer and is elected by Designated REALTORS® of firms of 20 agents or fewer.
Sunflower Region Director — This position is open to any REALTOR® member in the Sunflower Region, which includes Johnson, Franklin, Miami, Linn, Bourbon and Crawford Counties in Kansas. This director is elected by KCRAR members in the Sunflower Region.
Applications will be reviewed by KCRAR’s Credentials-Election committee. Credentialed candidates will be announced ahead of the director election, which will take place in November. Elected members in each of these positions will serve a three-year term from 2024-2026, beginning January 2024.
Directors serving on the KCRAR Board share their knowledge and expertise in the real estate industry and serve as KCRAR’s main decision-making body by establishing policy and shaping the future direction of the Association.
