KCRAR Commercial’s annual Forecast event will be held virtually on Oct. 21 at no cost to KCRAR members. Stewart Title Chief Economist Dr. Ted C. Jones and Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC) Senior Vice President of Corporate Attraction Jill McCarthy will bring their expert predictions for the 2022 commercial real estate market, nationally and locally.
Jones holds a PhD in finance with a minor in statistics and a master’s degree in land economics and real estate from Texas A&M University as well as a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University. Prior to his role as Chief Economist, Senior Vice President for Stewart Title Guaranty Company, he served as chief economist at Texas A&M University’s Real Estate Center, the nation’s largest publicly funded real estate research group.
McCarthy is a 2018 Honoree of the KCBJ Women Who Mean Business. In her role as Senior Vice President of Corporate Attraction at KCADC, McCarthy uses her 30+ years of experience driving new business, talent attraction and capital investment to KC’s 18 county, 50+ city, bi-state region. She is responsible for the implementation of strategic initiatives directing more deal flow to the KC region.
