KCRAR REALTOR® of the Year Award Nomination Form

This award is to honor a REALTOR® member of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®. The current or immediate past Association president are not eligible for this award. Applicants may not receive this award if they have received this award within the last five years from KCRAR. Consideration will be given to any REALTOR® member, i.e. Designated REALTOR® (DR), REALTOR® Broker (RB) sales manager; REALTOR® sales associate member that meets the selection criteria (see the five (5) categories with percentage amounts listed below and on the application).

The Award Selection Committee shall be composed of the past three years recipients of the REALTOR® of the Year, Salesperson of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Good Neighbor Community Service Award winner and Industry Partner of the Year. The Awards Committee may solicit nominations, members may submit members for consideration, and members may also nominate themselves for consideration.

Selection Criteria

Positions held, committee work, special assignments, seminar, activities and events participation and educational work promoting Association prestige and membership recruitment. List in bullet format.
Attendance at State and NAR Convention, meetings, offices held, committee work, etc. List in bullet format.
Political Activities connected with Chamber of Commerce, youth and religious groups. Political offices held, civic and service clubs, charitable activities, etc. List in bullet format.
High principles of faithfulness to Bylaws and regulations of the Code of Ethics. Principles of good real estate practices among other brokers and the public. General reputation for professional competence, etc. List in bullet format.
Criteria is not the number of dollars earned but the public recognition gained by the manner in which business is conducted, such as outstanding advertising program, successful service to clients and customers, imaginative and creative marketing programs. List in bullet format.
