2025-2027 KCRAR At-Large Kansas Director Candidate
Michele DuPont | Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kansas City Homes, Leawood, Kan.
Why do you wish to serve as a Director of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®?
I have seen the evolution of our industry over my 36 year career in the Kansas City real estate community. I see and believe wholeheartedly in the value the association brings to our members and affiliates. Having served on the Forms and Professional Development Committees and YPN, I see the need to enhance advocating for our REALTOR® members and the community at large.
In addition, I have seen firsthand the benefits and opportunities afforded the association and forwards on to our members and want to ensure those stay front and center as our business continues to evolve, especially in light of the recent NAR lawsuit settlement changes.
I feel that as a Director I can help support our members to ensure the high standards of REALTORS@ are maintained.
I feel that contributing as a member of the KCRAR Board of Directors would be the best way to have a voice and contribute to future.
What do you see as the primary purpose of this Association?
What I see as the primary purpose of Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors is to assist members to become the best they can be in their careers. This is accomplished thrugh robust member education, advocacy, meaningful communication and a focus on inclusion from all chapters.
What goals and objectives would you like to see pursued by this Association over the next three years?
I would like to see the Association bolster the education to members through video learning and office advocates to bridge the communication gap.
Increasing member awareness through those avenues and sharing other benefits to our REALTOR® members, their clients, and the communitieis we serve.
There is so much valuable information that is housed in the KCRAR website and I would love to help to share that knowledge with more members.
I would like to see further expansion on the Code of Ethics, where agents not only learn them, but live by them.
