KCRAR Young Professionals Network Scholarship Application

Two recipients will be selected by mid-July to each receive $1,000 toward their tuition to the UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy, to be paid directly to UMKC. Scholarship recipients will be responsible for paying the remaining $1,100 of their tuition by the Aug. 5 payment deadline (first deposit due upon acceptance). Scholarship applications will close July 12.

  • Such as events attended, YPN Committee service, contributions to YPN community service initiatives, etc.
  • i.e. How would this $1,000 make a difference for you?
  • Including number of transactions, total volume (combined listings & sales), and any other details of significance.

  • Requirements of Recipients

    If awarded the $1,000 YPN Scholarship, you would be held to the following requirements after graduation from the Academy:
    • One visit to a YPN Committee meeting after graduating from the program to share key takeaways.
    • Service on the YPN Committee or another KCRAR committee or advisory group of your choice the year immediately following your graduation. (Time commitment varies depending on the committee. Learn more about committees at kcrar.com/volunteer).
  • If I am awarded the YPN scholarship, I acknowledge and accept that I would be required to fulfill the above follow-up requirements.

  • Deposit, Tuition and Payment Policy

    The UMKC REALTOR® Leadership Academy tuition is $2,100. Upon acceptance into the program, participants are required to submit a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure their place. This deposit will be applied toward the total tuition amount. The remaining tuition balance must be paid in full by August 5, 2026. All tuition payments, including the deposit, are non-refundable, regardless of a participant’s completion status or withdrawal from the program. Payments may be made through your member portal once orders have been applied.
