Online CE Courses

KCRAR offers our members online continuing education classes free of charge to active KCRAR members in good standing. KCRAR pays for each online class upon completion.

Here are important points regarding free online CE offered through KCRAR:

  • You must be an active KCRAR Member in good standing to receive this member benefit.
  • KCRAR pays for each online class upon completion.
  • Please register for one class at a time. Once a class is completed, you may sign up for an additional class.

Code of Ethics Online CE

 

This Code of Ethics (COE) course is approved for 3 hours of Missouri Core credit and 3 hours of Kansas Elective credit. Plus, it satisfies the National Association of REALTORS® requirement to take a Code of Ethics class every three years.

Additionally, this course satisfies the Code of Ethics portion of the KCRAR New Member Education Requirement, due within 60 days of joining the Association.

Residential Online CE

KCRAR provides KAR’s Keynote online continuing education classes as a KCRAR member benefit.  These classes are made available by KCRAR as a no-cost member benefit and are normally priced at $30 per class.  Classes count for both Missouri and Kansas CE credit and include core classes as well as a variety of elective classes. 

Keep in mind that since these classes are not operated by KCRAR, CE hours earned through KAR will not display in KCRAR’s records.

Commercial-Oriented Online CE

KCRAR provides Career Education Systems online continuing education classes as a KCRAR member benefit.  These classes are made available by KCRAR as a no-cost member benefit and are normally priced at $30 per class. These classes count for both Missouri and Kansas CE credit.

Note: These courses are approved for a total of 9 hours CE credit.  An additional 3 hours of CE will be required to meet the 12-hour CE requirement for Missouri and Kansas license renewal. 

Keep in mind that since these classes are not operated by KCRAR, CE hours earned through Career Education Systems (CEcheap) will not display in KCRAR’s records.

NAR Online Courses

KCRAR members also have access to the online courses offered by the National Association of REALTORS®. You can find many certification and designation courses offered online through NAR’s REALTOR® University, some of which offer CE credit for Kansas and Missouri.

There is a cost for these courses, but keep in mind these are courses that are rarely offered live in Kansas City.
