About NAR's Mandatory Code of Ethics Training
Code of Ethics training must be completed by December 31 every 2 years (even-numbered years, i.e. 2018, 2020, etc.) to maintain your REALTOR® membership. COE is not required by the state licensing commission and is not a license renewal requirement. These are two different entities.
Ways to Complete the COE Training Requirement
**Best Option - NAR offers you a Free online ethics class which allows you to complete your requirement 24/7 at your convenience. Click here to access the COE Online. (You will need your NRDS number.)
In-Person Option - KCRAR is offering a video session in the KCRAR Classroom, "Code of Ethics (Non-CE)." Log in to the member portal here to check class availability and register.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you take the COE training at any other school besides KCRAR/CE Cheap or the NAR online course, you must submit confirmation of completion to KCRAR. To do this you may e-mail it to Education@KCRAR.com or mail a copy of your certificate of completion to KCRAR - Attention: Alison Trevor, 11150 Overbrook Rd., Leawood, KS 66211.
