Meet Your Candidates

KCRAR directors are recognized for the real difference they make in the lives of KCRAR members and the industry as a whole. After all, they are leaders of one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® associations. The decisions they make and the standards they set define the real estate business in this region and beyond.

KCRAR members will elect the following to the Board in 2011:

  • One At-large Director for a 3-year term, replacing Diana Welsh (whose term is up)
  • One At-large Director for a 1-year term, replacing Greg Shahan (who will be serving on the Board as the KAR Zone VP)
  • Two Region Chairmen, one each in the Rivers and Show Me Regions, for 2-year terms

 

The nominating committee has assembled slates for these positions:

The open At-large Director positions will be determined by a vote of all eligible members. Members in the Rivers and Show Me Regions will also vote for their respective Region Chairmen/Directors.

The election will be held beginning at noon Monday, Nov. 1. E-mails will be sent, including each member's online ballot, to all voting members who have e-mail addresses on file with KCRAR. Notification of the election will be sent via U.S. mail to members who do not have an e-mail address on file.

The election will conclude Wednesday, Nov. 17 at noon and election results will be announced at the KCRAR Annual Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 11:30 a.m. All members are welcome to attend that meeting which will begin immediately following the Board of Directors meeting the morning of Nov. 18.
